The Pineal Gland

The pineal gland is a small pine cone shaped red-grey organ that is located near the center of the brain, between the two hemispheres, tucked in a groove where the two rounded thalamic bodies join.

It is responsible for regulating sleep and the production of melatonin. It also produces a fascinating molecule called pinoline – read more about that here. The 17th century philosopher, Rene Descartes – written about in an earlier post – referred to the pineal gland as the “seat of the soul” and also commonly referred to “the third eye”.

This master gland is responsible for the internal perception of Light, the raising of Kundalini the serpent power, and for awakening inner sight or in-sight.

By the time we reach 10 years old, our pineal glands are so encrusted with melanin bound mineral crystals – mostly from excessive intake of unnatural levels of fluoride and chlorine – that radiologists use the calcified pineal gland as a marker when reading x-rays of the skull.

So can I cleanse / re-activate my pineal gland?

Luckily the answer is yes…

Firstly, it is important to stop further calcification of your Pineal Gland by stopping the intake of:
1. Fluoride – in tap water, toothpaste, etc
2. Calcium – in most processed foods
3. Tap Water – install water filters (reverse osmosis on drinking water and a filter for your shower as well) and rebuild your water.
4. Mercury (contained in fish such as shark, swordfish, tilefish and king mackerel. If you wish to eat fish, which contain essential omega-3 fatty acids beneficial for health, eat fish that is lower in mercury, such as shrimp, canned light tuna, salmon, pollock, and catfish)
5. Pesticides – in non-organic food
6. Sugar
7. Caffeine
8. Alcohol
9. Tobacco
10. Other toxins

Now that you have stopped the process of calcification, you are ready to start the process of decalcification…

DO this by taking in foods such as raw cacao, goji berries, cilantro (corriander), watermelon, bananas, honey, coconut oil, hemp seeds, seaweed, and noni juice.
